Built in 1830 in the Romanesque style, Bryn Bras Castle is thought to have been designed by Thomas Hopper. The Castle is set against a backdrop of Snowdonia mountains and was built for the pleasure of living in a gracious environment. The charm of its interior lies in the atmosphere of its elegantly romantic family rooms in which there are fine examples of stained glass, panelling, interesting ceilings and richly carved furniture.
